LaVoce Studios, LLC, Aimee Bee, Inc, and Go-DIVA! Productions are thrilled to present a multi-genre singing workshop on Saturday, January 14, 2017 at The Hermitage in Alexandria, VA!
Unique aspects of this workshop:
Each singer will present 2 excerpts of works-in-progress in pop, rock, jazz, music theatre, and classical genres
Two highly-qualified professional clinicians will work with each student on their 2 excerpts
The young singer are from a variety of musical backgrounds and ages: 6th grade through adult, the students have been taking voice lessons from local instructors anywhere from 3 months to many years
Brown-bag lunch featuring Q&A with clinicians
Two workshop segments:
- Morning Workshop from 10 am through 12:30 pm
- Afternoon Workshop from 1:00 pm through 4:30 pm

Please note: purchase of a ticket allows attendees to attend either or both workshops: ticket holders may come and go throughout the two workshops as desired. $15 for students college-age and under, $20 for adults. Tickets are also available for purchase at the door.

Aimee Barnes
Ms. Barnes has held the stage in a plethora of music-theatre roles both nationally and locally: she lived and worked in NYC as a working actress for a number of years prior to making her permanent home in the greater DC area. While in NYC, Ms. Barnes performed in productions of Songs for A New World, I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change, and A Christmas Carol, among others: in her most recent national tour she played the Fairy Godmother in Cinderella. She regularly performs in music theatre concerts and cabaret in the greater Washington, DC area, where she has made her home for the last ten years.

Jennifer Cooper
President/CEO of Go-DIVA! Productions, Inc. and professional vocalist, Ms. Cooper offers a unique, deeply varied repertoire of entertainment, blurring the boundaries of genres and styles. Before taking the stage as a jazz, blues and pop songstress, Cooper sustained a successful professional opera career yielding rave reviews for more than thirty principal roles and various concert appearances throughout Europe, Canada and the U.S. She has accumulated coveted top prizes in competitions including the Metropolitan Opera National Council, National Symphony Orchestra Young Artists, among others.
